Shop with Lidia Launch
I want to apologize for my absence and lack of content. Life has a funny way of throwing jabs and curveballs at you when you least expect it. But, I’ll slowly share more on that soon. In the meantime I’m playing catch up and promise to get back to getting you all great content, more episodes, and slowly open back up to you all.
Launching my online shop was something I had been thinking about for a while. Like anyone else, the fear of failure was ever present, but the support, drive, and desire to have something I could own under my name was bigger than anything! First off, none of what I have accomplished could’ve been done without some major help from some very special people. This post, my launch, and some items from my boutique are dedicated to them.
LooCID- Lion ElAton, is the creative genius behind my absolutely gorgeous website. From the moment I told him about wanting to rebrand Livin’ Latina over to a one stop shop kind of site for my friends and followers to visit; he immediately knew what I meant. I wanted to broaden my topics and reach more people with my show, blog, and potential business aspects, and Lion did just that as he created LivewithLidia.com. His marketing plans helped me tremendously as I started a new venture. After my new name was selected he even helped me design and create my logo, everything was so smooth and easy working with Lion over at LooCid! I highly recommend him and ask that you think of him if you need marketing plans, website design and hosting, and even filmmaking. He is a multitalented guy with an expertise in many fields, including creating a new game that I’m sure will be a hit; ChickenShit. Look out for the launch and all the great projects this amazing man has in store!
The Salted Hippie Boutique - Daune, oh what can I say about my fave hippie! She has been so influential in my life, before the thought of Live with Lidia was a concept. She is the true definition of empowered women empower women. She is a girls’ girl who always says “there’s enough shine to go around for everyone!” There is no competing to her, what is yours will always be. She is an open book of knowledge who isn’t afraid to share. I’ve come to think of her as a business mentor. I look up to her, I adore her! Daune not only was willing to help me with all the questions a small business owner can have at startup; she also was willing to share her supplier contacts with me. She guided me to how to curate and purchase, how to deal with vendors, shopping info, and even pricing guidance. The Salted Hippie Boutique is a beautiful and thriving storefront that makes all women feel better just walking in. It’s a reflection of the hardworking and heart of gold that the owner has. Design With Your Dime in Mind - Karen Nelson, the brains and beauty behind the design firm I do consulting for was a great source of support. Every time this boss babe opens her mouth I’m inspired. She has a way of uplifting and re-energizing people around her that is so amazing. I had lots of long talks and back and forth doubts with her. She never let me leave a convo doubting myself. “You can do this Lidia. You already are so brave, this will be your year!” Thank you for being an amazing source of strength and support. Thank you for allowing me to shine and fly despite needing time away from helping you. Nothing you do ever goes unnoticed.
Models- My merch wouldn’t shine as bright as it did had it not been for my beautiful models! Judith, Ashley, Val and Jocelyn (doubling as a photog/model). They each modeled a few of my items to help me have content for my launch. They styled themselves and I accessorized them with my goodies. They were so sweet, professional, and went above and beyond the help I needed. I will always have a special place for them in my shop and am in debt to them. If you are new to my site, let me start by saying welcome! I have always loved fashion and styling. I get it from my momma. I love sharing, and I mean it! When I love something and purchase it, I usually start thinking who it could look good on, who would rock it better than me, and who I can share it with. My friends usually come “shop” in closet de Lidia when they need anything for events; wether accessories, clothing and even shoes. Hence the idea, ‘Shop with Lidia’ came to life. In my shop, I want it to feel like you are shopping with me or in my closet. If I love it, I’ll curate it, and bring it to you! If I wouldn’t wear it myself…then you won’t see it on my shop. The majority of my items will be curated in small quantities or are unique, so if you have your eye on something, don’t hesitate too long. My love for travel has also given me the opportunity to see and experience lots of goodies from around the world, and with my travels; I’ll always bring you back souvenirs that I’ll make available through my shop.
